iPartner India’s mission is to give voice to grassroots NGOs and inspire individuals & businesses to join efforts in creating a better India.
iPartner India will utilise the funds towards Every8Minutes campaign to stop child trafficking. To stop children from going missing and turning into products bought so cheap that a bottle of soda becomes more expensive.
Central to our philosophy is the belief that every individual deserves equal access to opportunities, regardless of their background or circumstances. Our implementation strategies ensure that the benefits of our programs reach even the most marginalized members of society, free from discrimination or bias.
Girls and women in India are denied equal opportunities on several levels due to factors like poor education, early marriages and a general lack of freedom to make decisions. In such a setting, sports assume a very noteworthy role because each day presents a new opportunity. Sports help in breaking gender stereotypes. Yet, despite the many benefits, girls even today are unable to participate in sports due to the wider societal limitations that they face on a daily basis. Early intervention with young girls can empower them to recognise their right to development, protection and participation. With right skills, they are able to disrupt the larger cycle of discrimination to become agents of change.
iPartner India has developed a well-designed programme that aims to breaking the gender stereotypes and improving leadership skills of young people through football.
Regular weekly rigorous practice sessions with our senior and junior coaches are helping girls build their skill and techniques in football and basketball.
Life skills and gender training workshops improve the knowledge and capacity of young girls on gender equality, health, hygiene, sexual and reproductive health, etc.
Any support made to this cause will ensure that our 100 odd girls from marginalized families are able to become professional players are be part of larger tournaments and platforms regionally and in the country.
